BioI am kagitsune! ^^ After constantly coming back to LJ on my searches for lolita and visual kei information, I finally broke down and got one for myself! xD
I am very interested in Asian cultures (including Middle Eastern/SouthWest Asia, India, China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia...everything! ^^) and Japanese pop culture. I think it's all fascinating. I will have an opportunity to study in Japan next summer...won't that be awesome?? ^^
Cosplay and sewing is my passion. I spend a lot of time on money on it...more than anime or manga, ironically enough! I'm really lucky to have parents who support my weird hobby.
Sailor Moon, though pretty lame looking back, was one of the biggest inspirations for me as a child. It introduced me to anime, got me interested in cosplay before I even knew what it was called, and inspired me to write my own stories, draw, and to be compassionate and strong. My favorite scout was Jupiter... her intro was the first episode of Sailor Moon I ever saw. She was so cool! She could shoot electricity out of head, man... xD My little sister and I used to pretend we were sailor scouts and run around the backyard, "destroying" imaginary negaverse... xD
